Nicki Minaj might not have gotten a Video of the Year nomination for “Anaconda”, but it did earn her another huge honor!
After weeks of being caught up in the middle of a rap feud, Nicki had something to celebrate when she found out that Madame Tussauds had created a wax figure of her! This was huge news to Nicki, who had no idea that museum had even thought about immortalizing her.
Of all the videos Nicki’s had over the years, Madame Tussauds chose to model her statue after her “Anaconda” video. We kind of wish the organization had chosen another one, but it might be one of her more iconic visuals.
And if Nicki likes, we love it!
Since the figure is housed at the Madame Tussauds Las Vegas museum, they made a big deal of unveiling Nicki’s figure. The Pinkprint rapper was completely here for the spectacular reveal.
Nicki was so excited about that news that she’s even been sharing photos her fans have taken of the statue on Instagram.
According to TheJasmineBrand.com, the statue is something of milestone as Nicki has become the first Black female rapper to get her own wax figure at Madame Tussauds. This sickening fact probably just makes Nicki even more hype to go see the figure for herself.
TL;DR: Nicki’s booking a trick to Las Vegas ASAP! Now that’s how a boss chick gets back to focusing on what’s really important: herself!
