Baltimore Police Department Representatives Provides Update On Investigation Into Death Of Freddie Gray

Anthony Batts, the recently terminated police commissioner for Baltimore, has been exposed for fibbing about meeting with the family of Freddie Gray. The family’s attorney, William H. Murphy Jr., sent cease and desist letters to Batts and Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake demanding that he stop lying to the public about having connected with the Gray family. Murphy also said that he would be willing to facilitate a meeting between the Gray family and Batts per the family’s request. Batts is defending himself by saying that he had met with someone thinking that he was related to Gray, only to find that he was lied to. Read more at The Root.
