The circumstances surrounding Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson‘s failed marriage continue to confuse us. Glory, who announced she was pregnant weeks ago with the blessings of Brittney, revealed on Instagram that she’s expecting twins.
Glory says she was blindsided by Brittney’s decision to get an annulment and they had planned for twins. Prior to their wedding, Brittney and Glory had a domestic violence incident that led to a seven-game suspension for both the WNBA athletes.
“I am truly really saddened by the recent turn of events and was not expecting to have our marriage end so abruptly,” Glory told the Associated Press. “I am ready to begin focusing on my health, pregnancy and am going to remain in Tulsa to continue to build my relationship with the Tulsa Shock organization, and my teammates.”
