Michael Wood, a former Baltimore police sergeant, took to Twitter Wednesday to blow the lid off of shady behavior he says he participated in and witnessed during his 11 years on B’More’s force.
You may be familiar with Wood from a previous interview, where he alleged that the Baltimore Police Department started the riots.
This go-round, he revealed more facts about police misconduct, some of which you may have already suspected. Still, it doesn’t make it any less difficult to read. So here we go. I'm going to start Tweeting the things I've seen & participated in, in policing that is corrupt, intentional or not.
Again, this is stuff that many of us already figured. However, it’s commendable that he stepped forward, provided he’s telling the truth. More police corruption should be exposed in hopes of improving the force, and police/community relations.
