Disney World has earned its name as the most magical place on the earth. But with endless possibilities and thrilling adventures, it can seem impossible to narrow down all of the things you and your family would like to do.
Putting together a checklist for your vacation is the only way that you can make sure those hard-earned dollars you’ve just spent will count. Because I love you and I want your next family vacation to be wildly amazing, here are five experiences (in no particular order) that you absolutely must do with your kids!
1. Meet Mickey in Person
Magic Kingdom should totally be first up on your list. Your little munchkin can get Mickey’s autograph and, as a bonus to an already awesome-sauce day, they can actually have a conversation with him at the Town Square Theater. You will for sure get the “Mommy of the Year Award” after your kids have hugged their favorite Disney characters, princes and princesses.
2. View The Wishes Nighttime Spectacular
Relive your childhood dreams with your kids as the beloved Disney characters narrate this spectacular fireworks show at Magic Kingdom. But be sure not to blink even once as Tinker Bell takes flight over the park. Make sure you grab a seat in the Cinderella Castle forecourt for the best view. Before your trip is over you have to join Jiminy Cricket and the Blue Fairy as they celebrate the power of believing.
3. Typhoon Lagoon Park
No family vacation is complete without a day at the water parks. You can snorkel with the sharks, stingrays and tropical fish of the coral or go plunging down the rushing rapids. If adventure isn’t on your top ten vacation things to do, you can sunbathe on the sandy beach or glide down the river on a relaxing raft ride. Your kids will definitely be down for a trip on the epic typhoon hurled surfboards.
4. La Nouba By Cirque du Soleil
A wonderful way to relax in Downtown Disney with the family while enjoying the wonders of human agility. Witness an international cast of more than 65 artists as they perform glorious feats of strength and daring acts of grace. This is a performance that could birth a budding acrobat in your child.
5. Walk Through Cinderella’s Castle To Enter Fantasyland
Since the scheduled shows force this walkway to be roped off throughout the day, you will have to time this perfectly. But there is simply no other way to get through Magic Kingdom than passing under the enchanting gates of Cinderella’s iconic castle. As you enter, pay close attention the mosaics depicting Cinderella’s epic story as it’s made up of hundreds and thousands of pieces.
Sure there are plenty of other things that I may have left off this list, but that’s just a testament to the fact that you need more than one vacation to Disney World! I’m down for that, how about you?
