Let your soul do the swiping–such is the tagline for this new Black dating app, Soul Swipe. So I guess Black folks needed their own dating app? I’m not all the way mad at it. As a unashamed Tinder user, I’m often bored by the dating app, swiping left many more times than I swipe right and sadly, that’s because I want to see more Black and brown faces. This does not mean that you won’t see White people because there’s always plenty of people who want some milk with their coffee.

Soul Swipe has come along with the same aesthetic and end game that Tinder has, but there’s more color to choose from. I’ve already downloaded it, starting swiping and am chatting with a cutie from Brooklyn. Score! So just like Tinder, you swipe left when you’re not interested and right when you want to get to know the person staring at you from your phone.

And if you need more incentive to join, rumor has it celebrities like Amber Rose, Bryshere Y. Gray and Big Sean are already on it. So who knows, you might end up finding a star-studded lover! You better just let your soul do the swiping. Love is in the air, so get to downloading!

The app is available in the App Store and the Google Play store.
