We can’t imagine what it’s like to lose a parent. In fact, it’s one of our worst nightmares. Kelly Rowland lost her mother late last year and until a recent appearance on “The Meredith Vieira Show,” she rarely talked about it.
Kelly stopped by the daytime talk show where she broke down to tears discussing the sad topic.
“It’s definitely; it’s been a challenge,” she said.” “You know, my husband says, ‘You know babe, you should look at it like it’s a new normal,’ and I think that’s what I’ve done. I am just so blessed to have my son. I don’t think I’ve actually had time to really, really grieve. But I feel her presence often. Like something that happened the other day, Titan was laughing. I was like, ‘What is this boy laughing at,’ because it was such as belly-filled giggle. And I was like, “What is that,” and he’s looking up and he’s smiling and laughing and I was like, that’s mom. Like I just know she’s always near and I am just so grateful for that. God gave me an angel he took one of my Angels away but he still has her covering and hovering over us and I am so grateful and blessed.”
