Who knew that Walt Disney World would make the perfect vacation for couples that are looking for a romantic getaway? Whether you are getting married, honeymooning or celebrating your first anniversary there are plenty of ways to add a little bit of romance into your Disney World vacation.

1. Horse-drawn carriage ride

Ive never met a walk after dinner that I didn’t like. But to upgrade your romantic evening, look into the horse-drawn carriage rides at both Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, and Port Orleans Riverside. Use this 25-minute carriage ride to not only bond but also to wind down and relax from your long day at the theme parks.

2. Fireworks

Skip the crowd at the Magic Kingdom and schedule some time to watch the show from one of the monorail resorts. You’ll find the perfect view of the fireworks, equipped with lounge chairs and hammocks, at the beach at the Polynesian. As a bonus, grab dinner at Kona Café before heading to the beach.

3. Romantic dinners

Dinner with the one you love while you’re vacationing at the greatest place on Earth instantly adds a romantic factor. But you should consider having a meal at California Grill, at the top of the Contemporary, or the Flying Fish Café at the Boardwalk. You’ll find views of the Wishes at the California Grill and you can talk a much-needed walk of solitude down the boardwalk with your honey.

4. Hot Air Balloon Ride

Not only is a hot air balloon ride a once-in-a-lifetime activity that screams romance, you’ll be able to create wonderful memories flying over the spectacular sights in the Orlando area. Once you get there, don’t forget to take a traditional champagne toast.
