And Baby Makes Four: Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz Welcome Another Boy
Mazel Tov goes out to Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz. The couple announced they are the proud parents of new baby boy Genesis Ali, who made his arrival early Saturday morning. The “Girl on Fire” songbird dropped the news on Instagram with a picture of the newest Dean’s footprints (that’s the last part of Swizz’s Gov’t name) with the caption:
The joy of joy is joy!! It’s a boy!! We are so grateful!! #blessings!!

Genesis joins the couple’s oldest son Egypt, 4 along with Beatz’s children from previous relationships, sons Prince Nasir, 13, Kasseem Jr, 7, and daughter Nicole, 5. In July, on the couple’s fourth wedding anniversary, Keys posted on Instagram the news of another child on the way. Keys exclaimed:
Happy anniversary to the love of my life. And to make it even sweeter we’ve been blessed with another angel on the way!! You make me happier than I have ever known! Here’s to many many more years of the best parts of life!
The music producer and R&B singer have been married since 2010.
