Royce Reed Accused Of Child Abuse

Last week, news broke that former “Basketball Wives LA” star Royce Reed had accused her baby’s father and NBA baller Dwight Howard of child abuse against their son Braylon, leading to Howard being investigated over the allegations. Well, it turns out, Royce was also accused of abusing their child.

Back in February, Braylon’s school called The Florida Dept. of Children and Families on Royce, after the 6-year-old was allegedly disciplined with a belt on the back of his neck and leg for using “potty words.”

Royce admitted to hitting Braylon, with a child’s belt, because he used disrespectful language in school which seems like the the way most Black parents would have responded.

The case was ultimately dropped after there were no “obvious marks.” It has us wondering… how thin is the line between abuse and discipline?
