Sonya Eskridge is a writer from Maryland, who started her news career in radio at the age of 17. After graduating from Virginia Tech, she went on to write for a national publication where she was able to mold her personal voice. Always looking for ways to inform on important issues—or share her love of nerdy and girly things—Sonya thoroughly enjoys writing about a wide range of subjects.
It was a blast from the past when the members of Total circled up for a quick reunion this week.
It’s been years since we have seen or heard from Kima, Keisha and Pam, but we remember singing along to their hits like “Can’t You See” and “Trippin’.” Since they were part of Bad Boy’s huge boom in the late 90s, they have a place in hip-hop history that can never be erased.
Unfortunately, this also lined them up for the Bad Boy curse, where the labels’ acts often had careers that didn’t go as far as they could have. Total fell victim to the curse, having last recorded together in 1999. Members of the group have popped up on songs, but the full group hasn’t been together since then.
All of that changed Friday, when Keisha posted a shot of the trio on Instagram with the caption, “Tonight….PRICELESS.#GODis ❤️❤️❤️ #TOTAL #KimaKeishaAndPam.”

Keisha also got a chance to snap a shot with her former Bad Boy labelmate Faith Evans. Although they haven’t worked together in a while, she’s still got a lot of admiration and respect for Faith’s talents.
This woman is so so gifted. It’s crazy!” Keisha wrote, teasing fans about her special privileges. “She’s Faith Evans to you….Faithabee to me☺️ Love you Faithabee #PowerHouse #LegendsOfBadBoy #FaithEvans.”
We don’t know what the women of Total were up to last night, but we get the feeling that the masses may find out soon enough.
