“Delivert” Man Getting Sued Church

Ever since Andrew Caldwell popped up on our Facebook feeds, we haven’t been able to get his epic “I am delivert” speech out of our heads…or the gospel jingle that followed it.

Like many other viral videos (“Bedroom Intruder” and “Ain’t Nobody Got Time For That” just to name a few), Caldwell’s deliverance was made into a song on iTunes. It’s already sold over 200 copies.

However, The Church of God in Christ’s Holy Convocation Convention, where Caldwell was delivered, allegedly insists Caldwell lawyer up because they think they own the audio. And if there’s one thing we know about church folks is, they don’t play with their money.

But, they’re going to have to put up a fight because Caldwell says he owns the copyrights to the song.
