Raven-Symone is absolutely disgusted with some ill-conceived gossip that she is one of Bill Cosby‘s alleged victims.

Olivia. Has. Spoken.

As things continue to crumble around Bill in the fallout from his resurfaced rape allegations, Raven-Symone has had to shoot down a rumor that he molested her while they were filming “The Cosby Show.”

A Website called Hip Hop Hangover, which bills itself as a “gossip parody and satirical publication,” put up a story with a made-up rumor that Bill had drugged the young actress before touching her inappropriately. We’re not sure what about that is supposed to be funny (there’s really no accounting for some senses of humor), but Raven was not laughing.

“I was NOT [taken] advantage of by Mr. Cosby when I was on the Cosby Show! I was practically a baby on that show and this is truly a disgusting rumor that I want no part of!” Raven insisted on Instagram, again requesting that her name not be brought up in connection with this huge mess. “Everyone on that show treated me with nothing but kindness. Now keep me out of this!”

We can’t really blame Raven for shooting this one down. Even if she wasn’t defending Bill, was it really necessary to draw on something so traumatically heinous that countless people have suffered and survived through? Sexual assualt is not something that one should use for gossip fodder. Beyond that, how is child molestation even remotely acceptable territory for a parody?!

Clearly, critical thinking is really a lost art.
