The internets nearly shut down this morning as word began to travel around that a virtual “manhunt” was underway for “Love & Hip Hop NY” rapper Joe Budden. The frenzy began after the Twitter account belonging to the  NYPD News tweeted out the following tweet below.

As previously reported, Joey found himself in hot water this week when his former girlfriend released pics to the media claiming Joe beat her up.

The rapper has been accused of  losing his mind upon seeing pics of his ex clubbing with other men on Instagram.

Her friend reportedly told that Joe’s ex allegedly broke up with Budden because he was

“cheating and hooking up with strippers.”

This statement is sort or ridiculous inside of itself. It’s Joe Budden! The rapper is well-known for his gaggle of girls! Who besides his lady-love Tahiry gets with him thinking there isn’t going to be other girls running around? Have they not seen pics from his pool parties? Bottom line the ladies love themselves some Joe and they seem to do whatever necessary to be in his presence. This is common knowledge.  But we digress.

However, the New York Daily News is reporting that cop sources say according to their paperwork, Budden did nothing more than twist the woman’s arm.

The “wanted” Slaughterhouse rapper is supposedly hiding in plain sight on social media as he fired off more than 15 tweets on Friday claiming New Jersey cops had been in contact with him. Check out a little of what Mr. Budden had to say below.

We somehow doubt he is #1 on the NYPD’s most wanted list just yet but it looks like they might want to have a little chat with the rapper sometime soon.

We’ll standby as this story continues to develop.
