Spoiler alert: There will be tears.

Have you ever considered the impact you could have on the world in three minutes? Sounds like not enough time to make any changes–doesn’t it?  But as the above video shows it doesn’t take a long time to make a difference. The video shows a man going around the food court asking people who are eating, if he could have some of their food, or if they have extra. All of the people tell the man that they don’t have anything to give him, nothing extra.

Cut to another scene, where a homeless man is gifted extra food from a kind stranger who just wants to pay it forward. That same man that was asking people for their food at the food court, approaches the homeless man who was just handed food from stranger. What happens next will not only make you cry, but challenge the way you look at humanity (we won’t spoil it for you — watch!).

As a society, we live in scarcity. There should be no reason anyone in the world is hungry. There’s so much wealth in the world–people who make so much money they could never spend in a lifetime–and yet 842 million people in the world do not have enough to eat. Why? Hunger kills more people every year than AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined.

We’ve got to be the change the world needs. Even on a small-scale, we can change the world. The next time you see someone who’s hungry, remember this video! Our actions may be small, but they can add much-needed change to this world and that’s what we all need right now.
