Dan Pfeiffer, one of the president’s top aides doesn’t doubt that Republicans are seriously looking for ways to accuse president Obama of illegal activity.
According to the Associated Press, he said that conservatives have already “opened the door to impeachment” by considering whether they might file suit against Commander In Chief. Supposedly, they would be suing him for the way he’s used his executive authority.
“I saw a poll today that had a huge portion of the Republican Party base saying they supported impeaching the president,” Dan told reporters at a Christian Science Monitor, The Hillreports. “A lot of people in this town laugh that off. I would not discount that possibility.”
Dan believes that the likelihood of a lawsuit would only increases if President Obama signs anymore executive orders that aide illegal immigrants.
