Brandy Inducted As Honorary Member Of Alpa Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Brandy’s mother Sonja Norwood’s smiled beamed as her daughter Brandy was inducted into the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority as an honorary member, joining director Ava Duvernay and Senator Z.C. Allyson Maynard Gibson in the AKA’s 66th Boule in Charlotte, NC.
Sonja was originally initiated as an AKA at Southern University’s Beta Psi’s chapter and now Brandy will carry on their legacy.
“Today was a very special day. I became and honorary member of #AlphaKappaAlpha! I made this very special lady proud. @sonjanorwood- My mom’s legacy as an #AKA continues. Love to all my #Sorors <3 #sisterhood #ethics #strength #class #leadership #intellect #power #LOVE,” Brandy wrote on Instagram.
