Kandi Burruss has more good news to celebrate. Two months after tying the knot to hubby Tood Tucker, her Bravo wedding special has brought in the highest ratings ever for a “Real Housewives of Atlanta” spinoff.
Judging by the big numbers, Kandi kicked NeNe Leakes off of her ATL thrown. “Kandi’s Wedding” debuted Sunday night with 2.4 million viewers, topping 2013’s “I Dream of NeNe,” which pulled in 1.6 million viewers, and Kim Zolciak’s 2012 “Don’t Be Tardy” special, which attracted 1.39 million viewers.
“Thank you sooooooo much to everyone that watched, talked about, & spread the word for our premiere episode of #KandisWedding,” the millionaire housewife posted on Instagram. “Because of you we had 2.4 million viewers!!!!!! Im so thankful for my husband @Todd167, my family, friends, & the crew that all were a part of making this show happen. I love yall!”
