Apollo Nida is currently facing up to 30 years in prison and he says, no matter what happens, Phaedra should “stay around and do what a wife should do.”
Just two weeks after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit mail, wire and bank fraud, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” hubby opened up about his legal troubles in an interview with V103′s Ryan Cameron. Apollo said he wants his wife of five years to remain married during his incarceration.
“I think Phaedra, in a perfect world, should be supportive as a wife should be,” he said. “But if she chooses to derail from the plan, then that’s what she chooses to do.”
The 35-year-old went on to say that he’s prepared for any possible scenario. “Apollo is prepared for whatever happens in life. Whatever’s been thrown at me, I deal with it,” he explained. “I would like to say I would want her to stay around and do what a wife should do. But tomorrow’s not promised.”
“You know what – I did it,” Apollo admitted. “I said I did it. So now I will just pay the price.”
As we reported earlier, the father of two is being held responsible for filing fake tax returns and obtaining bank loans against cars he did not own. At the time of his hearing, he said “I take full responsibility for my actions…It was a dumb situation I put myself in.” After leaving the courtroom, he said that he’s prepared for the hail storm of negative comments sure to come his way. “TALK SH*T PEOPLE!! I’M EXPECTING ALL THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS,” he tweeted.
