The 2014 Billboard Music Awards goes down tonight and it’s going to be a tight race. When it comes to the nominees, Justin Timberlake leads the pack in the R&B categories, with Beyonce not too far behind.
The blue-eyed soul star, nominated for 11 awards, and the “Drunk In Love” singer, up for seven, are running neck-to-neck for Top Billboard 200 Album, Top R&B Album, Top R&B Song, Top R&B Artist and Top Billboard 200 Artist.

Bey, thanks to the help of her self-titled surprise visual album, is also a finalist for Top Female Artist and Top Touring Artist. She shares both categories with Rihanna, #TeamBeautiful’s choice for the Top Social Artist award. (We want Pharrell “Happy” Williams to win Top R&B Artist, too!)
Drake, Eminem and Bruno Mars are competing for Top Male Artist. And hopefully there won’t be a repeat of the Grammys for Top Rap Artist, a category that includes Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Jay Z, Eminem, Pitbull and Drizzy.
