Jay Z and Kanye West teamed up for a Watch the Throne reunion in Austin, Texas last night. The multi-platinum rappers rocked the stage at the SXSW Music Festival with a two-hour show of new and old hits.
Sponsored by Samsung, the setlist included “No Church in the Wild,” ”N—as in Paris,” ”Who Gon Stop Me” and “Otis.” Kanye performed individuals tracks from Yeezus like “Black Skinhead,” and “New Slaves,” then Jay Z followed with Magna Carta Holy Grail bangers “Tom Ford” and “FuckWithMeYouKnowIGotIt.”
“There was two stages. There was one up front. Both of the stages elevated like an elevator,” according to an E! News source. “They performed their new remix for ‘Drunk in Love.’ Beyoncé was on the track, but she didn’t come on stage.”
In other SXSW news, singer-turner chef Kelis debuted her food truck on festival grounds. She served foodies and music lovers jerk ribs (also the title of her current single from her sixth studio album FOOD) and tacos. Check out a few photos she shared on IG below.
