Frank Ocean squashed his beef with Chipotle today by giving the Mexican grill his big, fat middle finger — well, sort of.

The R&B singer-songwriter wrote the fast food chain a $212,500 check with the caption ‘F**k Off’ written into the memo. The payoff was a direct response to Chipotle’s recently-filed lawsuit, which demanded Ocean to return the company’s advance money.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the meaty feud started after the “Thinkin’ Bout You” singer backed out of a new ad campaign, called “The Scarecrow.” The suit claimed Ocean received money in July 2013 to record his rendition of the popular Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory song “Pure Imagination,” and appear in a commercial spot. However, he chucked the deuces before delivering the tune.

According to the 26-year-old’s representative, those were not the terms of the deal. Ocean’s legal team said Chipotle mislead their client into thinking the marketing campaign was “to promote local and sustainably-sourced food.” In other words, he did not agree with the Mexican restaurant using their logo at the end of the three-minute clip.

“When Frank was asked to participate in this project, Chipotle’s representatives told him that the thrust of the campaign was to promote responsible farming. There was no Chipotle reference or logo in the initial presentation, and Chipotle told Frank that was an intentional element of the campaign,” Ocean’s legal team wrote in a letter in August 2013. “Frank was also promised that he’d have the right to approve the master and all advertising.”

A rep from the Mexican grill released a short statement in response to Ocean’s “f**k off” message. “Thanks, Frank,” it read according to TMZ. The rep added that they have yet to receive his actual check.
