Beyonce Doesn’t Want To Be “Bossy”

Sorry, Kelis, being “bossy” is totally not in these days.
Beyonce is lending her voice to a powerful public service campaign that encourages little girls to assert themselves and embrace leadership. #BanBossy wants to end the use of the word “bossy” to describe girls that run their world. Queen Bey joins Condoleezza Rice, Facebook COO/ “Lean In” author Sheryl Sandberg, fashion designer Diane Von Furstenburg and more for the #BanBossy PSA that runs on Lifetime.

“Be brave, be you,” Bey says. “I’m not bossy. I’m the boss.”

The campaign provides leadership tools for young girls to really rule. We definitely understand where Condoleezza was coming from.
