I've been playing around with nouns and verbs for a while now. I've written on Capital Hill, for a small paper owned by the Chicago Sun Times and a few places in between. I can wax poetic all day about how great of a writer I am, but that's boring. All you need to know is that awesome-sauce. Don't believe me? Just read.
The 2013 Soul Train Award Winner for Best Traditional Jazz Performance Nicole Henry is performing a two-night gig in New York City at the famous Blue Note Jazz Club.
Starting at 8 and then again at 10:30pm, Henry will serenade attendees with her smooth voice for a special Valentine’s Day performance. If you can’t make tonight’s performance no worries, her encore show will take place Wednesday, Feb. 12 at the same location.
The last time we caught up with Henry, she was promoting her album “So Good So Right: Nicole Henry Live” which was a cover of some of her favorite songs growing up. Now, the chanteuse is helping to warm us up during this cold Valentine’s Day weekend.
If you’re interested in taking your significant other to enjoy some smooth jazz and amazing vocals, then the Blue Note Jazz Club is where you need to be.
