I woke up particularly early just to listen to Kanye West on The Breakfast club this morning because I knew Charlamagne Tha God–the resident Wendy Williams of the bunch–wouldn’t allow Kanye to just rant like the megalomaniac he is known to be. I knew he would speak the truth and ask the questions we desperately seek to know. And Kanye knew it too. He made it blatantly known that the people wanted to hear him and Charlamagne go at it. “They wanna hear him talk man,” Kanye said to DJ Envy, interrupting his question about why he feels so frustrated all the time. “They want this man to throw them blows man, that’s what they waiting for. They waiting for Charlamagne to tap these gloves and go at Ye. So let’s go.”

And as expected, Charlamagne took it there. “Do you not like the reception the album has gotten?” Charlamagne asked. “I didn’t like the album at all, and I was a Kanye West fan. But Yeezus was wack to me” to which ‘Ye responded “Yeah that’s great. “That’s great. So what were you saying?”

Charlamagne had choice words for ‘Ye when he’d go off on an irrelevant tangent, “What are you talking about?” he bravely asked. We don’t even think Ye knows. But what is clear it the “Yeezus” rappers infatuation with money, big label corporations and love for Kim Kardashian. Kanye’s boycotted Louis Vuitton because the head of Louis Vuitton, Yves Carcelle wouldn’t take a meeting with him thus adding to his rage. That’s why he reminds everyone that he is a genius because who the hell would deny Kanye West? He’s Kanye West, the modern day Solomon Northup and Michelangelo…

All of this for Charlamagne to say “people don’t want to hear your rich people problems.” We can’t agree more!
