Miley Cyrus has a polluted depiction of the Black culture. If you let her tell it, Black women all have big butts and this is her determining factor for race. “People are like, ‘Miley thinks she’s a black girl, but she’s got the flattest a** ever. I’m like, ‘I’m 108 pounds! I know,” Cyrus said in Rolling Stone Magazine. Apparently twerking has distorted Miley’s perception.
Cyrus was just a former Disney star until she released her first twerking video. She was praised by rappers, fans and anyone who thought twerking in a unicorn onsie, was hot. I didn’t, but that’s just me. Miley Cyrus is convinced that if she dresses like Rihanna and twerks with Juicy J, that it will somehow earn her an honorary Black card. But she couldn’t be anymore wrong. Blackness isn’t determined by how well one twerks or the size of their derriere. Let’s face it, no matter what Miley Cyrus ever does, she’ll always be a petite White girl. Never will she comprehend what “being Black” is about. It’s impossible. Because, when you’re Black you encounter certain scenerios and situations that are brought on by skin color. Moments the define the plight of Black people.

During her informative interview, she touched on Justin Bieber who she says, hasn’t fully “transitioned.” Transitioned into what? She doesn’t mention. “Because I’ve been doing this s**t for a long time, and I already transitioned, and I don’t think he’s quite done it yet.” Who exactly has she transitioned into?
“He’s trying really hard,” she adds. “People don’t take him seriously, but he really can play the drums, he really can play guitar, he really can sing. I just don’t want to see him fuck that up, to where people think he’s Vanilla Ice. I tell him that. Like, ‘You don’t want to become a joke. When you go out, don’t start shit. Don’t come in shirtless.’ Ironic, since we don’t take her seriously when she’s flashing her nipples and calling it art.
Partially, I think we (Blacks) are to blame, somewhat for her behavior. We are the ones who laughed when her tongue hung out her mouth while she humped a giant teddy bear. In fact, from her candid conversation with writer Josh Eells we learned that Kanye gave her the ultimate compliment before she hit the VMA stage. ‘There are not a lot of artists I believe in more than you right now” and afterwards told her “I still can’t quit thinking about your performance.”
Cyrus is obsessed with what she thinks is the Black culture, but she hasn’t done enough research to realize what exactly it is.
