Later in the episode, we’re reminded of Evelyn and Chad’s domestic drama. Apparently, Evelyn took Chad’s daughter to a family engagement where Chad was present and the former lovers met face to face for the first time in months. Evelyn met with Suzie after the event to give her all the details of everything that went down and although she vowed that she would never go back to Chad, Suzie confessed that she wouldn’t be surprised if the two were together again. Suzie tried to give Evelyn advice from her own domestic violence situation in hopes that Ev would learn from her past mistakes. Evelyn still seemed shocked that the whole incident even happened in the first place and believed that no one in a million years would ever guess that she and Chad would have problems in their marriage. No one except for her daughter, her best friends and the world, of course.
