When are the Emmys? The 2013 Emmys will be held on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. Officially known as the 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, the event honors the best TV programming from June 1, 2012, through May 31, 2013, and it’s scheduled to air at 8PM EST on CBS. Who’s hosting the Emmys? That would be Neil Patrick Harris, the former “Doogie Howser, M.D.” star now known for his role as Barney Stinson on “How I Met Your Mother.”

When are the Emmys? The Emmy Awards are on Sept. 22, 2013—a date many TV fans, critics, actors, producers, directors and network execs no doubt have circled in their calendars. The 2013 Emmy Awards nominations were announced in July, and “American Horror Story: Asylum,” nabbed the most nods, picking up 17. The second-most lauded show was “Game of Thrones,” as the HBO series garnered 16 nominations.
