Could Danity Kane be making a comeback at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards? Are they working on a new reality show?

It looks like Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, Aundrea Fimbres and Shannon Bex have got something on tap for the end of the month.

The group sent imaginations racing when the ladies met up for lunch earlier this year. Although they initially played coy about a reunion project, they continued to fuel the rumor mill by posting a picture of the group at a studio.

Yesterday afternoon, however, Danity Kane took comeback speculation to a whole new level when the follow message was posted to their newly established Twitter account.

The site had a countdown clock, which has since been taken down, that would run out on August 25 around 8:30 p.m. That’s when the 2013 VMAs will be broadcast from The Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Since Danity Kane came together and split up on “Making The Band,” a return on MTV might be possible.

And a peek at the list of people and organizations they’re following might raise a few more eyebrows. According to ThatGrapeJuice.net, Danity Kane’s following Johnny Wright, WEGMusic, and 51 Minds. Johnny is their former manager, and Aubrey told reporters last month that the group is working on a new reality show with 51 Minds. That’s the production company behind “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle” and “Marrying The Game.”

She also confirms in the video below that Danity Kane is working on new material.
