Nina Simone’s legacy will live on through one of the places where it all started, her childhood home.
According to reports, a new reality show will document the restoration of the legendary singer’s Tryon, North Carolina birth home, a project that has been on-going since her death in 2003.

Set to air on the History Channel and PBS, the series will also share her remarkable rags-to-riches story and how she became one of the most inspiring musicians in the history of music.
Other historical landmarks on the project list include the childhood homes of Rosa Parks, Jimi Hendrix and Woodie Guthrie.
