Jay-Z’s new album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, will feature a duet with his lovely wife Beyonce.
Hov announced the collaboration by posting the lyrics to “Part II (On the Run)” on his Samsung app.
The track is very reminiscent of “’03 Bonnie and Clyde,” as it tells the story of a bad boy and good girl on the run from the cops. At the end of the song, the boy turns the good girl bad and the girl turns the baby boy good.
He raps, “She fell in love with the bad guy/ The bad guy/ What you doing with them rap guys/ Them rap guys/ They ain’t see potential in me girl/ But you see it/ If it’s you and me against the world/ Then so be it.”
The hip-hop mogul also revealed that his twelfth studio album will include features by Frank Ocean and Justin Timberlake.
The Carters share a very private relationship, but we get a small glimpse into their world from their numerous musical collaborations. Take a look at our favorite Jay and Bey songs from over the years below.
