Once upon a time Erica Dixon dreamed of saying “I do” to her child’s father and longtime boyfriend Lil Scrappy, but that day has come and past.
In a recent interview with Mouth to Ears, the “Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta” star opened up about the real reason she called of her engagement and the side effects of having her relationship broadcast on reality TV.
“I definitely called off the engagement. Clearly Scrappy wasn’t ready. I feel like the whole proposal at the end of the day was to save his image,” she revealed. “It was all about how he looked to the people. So that’s why I believe he proposed at the end at the reunion because he was getting so much hate from fans and I think it was just too much for him to deal with.”
She went on to say that as time progressed “the truth came out about what his true iterations really were.”
As far as their current status? She simply said, “We’re co-parenting.”
