On the latest episode of “Braxton Family Values”, the girls were all focused on helping their baby sister Tamar adjust to being pregnant. Toni helped her pick out comfortable shoes for her swollen feet, Towanda helped pick our a new personal assistant and of course, Mommy was there to pick up the pieces that the girls left behind. Trina and Traci were in North Carolina for their performances during the CIAA tournament and were both a nervous wreck without big sister Toni there to coach them. Find out what happened below.
“I Don’t Know How Fat People Do It!” – Tamar
If anyone ever said pregnancy was easy, they were obviously lying–at least according to Tamar. Normally, Tamar focuses on her career, herself and her career, but now all she could focus on was her food craving for the day and what she wanted to eat next. She complained about her feet hurting all the time, so Toni volunteered to take her shopping for comfortable shoes. Tamar wasn’t feeling the idea of wearing flats (and apparently neither is Kim Kardashian) so it was hard for her to find a pair of shoes that she liked. After trying a couple of options, Toni and Tamar finally agreed on a pair of wedge sneakers. Tamar would still rather rock a pair of heels but I guess the wedge sneakers could work for the time being.

Later in the episode, Towanda brought Tamar a candidate, James, for her personal assistant. Since Towanda was such a great personal assistant to Toni back in the day, she opened up a training school for people who wanted to be celebrity personal assistants and since she knew Tamar’s personality the best, she figured that James would be perfect for the job considering he was the gay version of her!
Tamar and James instantly hit it off and she loved his over the top personality. Tamar was worried that James would think that he was there to hang out and have a good time when he really should be there working, reading Tamar’s mind and being psychic, so she decided to take him out for a trial run a.k.a a shopping trip. Towanda, Tamar and James went out and ran into a bakery which was perfect for Tamar considering all she wanted to do was eat all the time anyway. Tamar asked James to try all of the items in the store for her and tell her what they tasted like before she tasted them herself. Maybe a little over the top for a personal assistant’s job however, James passed the test with ease and Tamar decided that she really liked him and wanted him to be her personal assistant. The last thing James had to do was hit it off with Vince, and if Vince liked him then he got the job! Good luck!
Traci & Trina Perform At CIAA
Trina and Traci were in North Carolina for their performance at the CIAA tournament. Traci was singing the black national anthem and Trina was performing her single, “Game Time”. At first, Traci wasn’t nervous at all. She was proud to say that she had her “black card” seeing as how she knew the black national anthem ever since she was a little girl so singing it in front of a large crowd should be a piece of cake for her. However, on the day of the performance, Traci was a nervous wreck! She was afraid that she would forget the words and was even more nervous that her support system, Trina, was running late. When Traci hit the court, she suddenly forgot all about her nerves and sang that anthem like she was the only one in the room! Yaaass Traci! Looks like she made up for walking off the stage during Toni’s performance last season and messing up Trina’s choreography on last week’s episode!
After Traci’s performance, it was Trina’s turn. Everything seemed to be going great until the host explained to Trina that her dancers had to get new shoes for the performance! Trina had to go to the mall and pick up new shoes for the dancers all before she hit the court to perform. After a bit of chaos, Trina was finally ready to go. Traci was in the audience cheering her sister on and the girls were definitely very proud of each other! Go girls!
You Are Known By The Judys You Keep
Although Traci was very proud of Trina’s performance, Trina wanted Toni and Tamar’s opinion, especially considering they were the big performers of the family. The girls gathered to watch the tape of the performance so they could see what they missed. Toni and Tamar had a different opinion from Traci and thought that Trina could have spared to lose the boots, the outfit, the choreography and even the backup dancers or as Tamar liked to call them, “the queens”. Tamar told Traci that she should never call that stylist again because she had her out there looking the boldest of bold and to be careful because “you are known by the Judys you keep!” Preach!
Toni thought that although Trina sounded amazing, her costume and the pom poms overshadowed the whole performance. Trina seemed to take the criticism well but couldn’t believe that Toni didn’t like the pom poms! We all know how much Trina loved them! Overall, the critics were good for Trina to hear and will only make her a better artist like her big sister, Toni!
