Just days after confessing to the world why she loves being a Black trophy wife, Porsha Stewart’s husband Kordell Stewart hit her with divorce papers.

Clearly Porsha didn’t see the D-word coming, but her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star NeNe Leakes said she noticed something off about the Stewart’s relationship from day one.

“I am a good judge of character,” Nene tweeted, perhaps referencing her observations that Kordell was too controlling. She added, “I will stand by & support my little sister @PorshaDStewart.”

Fellow Housewives star, Kenya Moore, also weighed in on the break-up news. Although the two have had a shaky relationship on the show, Kenya said she hopes Porsha and Kordell can work it out.

“It’s no secret that Porsha and I have had our differences,” she said to E! News. “However, I would never want to see anyone go through pain or suffering such as in a divorce. I’m a hopeless romantic and believe in love and hope they can get past their differences. I do wish Porsha well and know she will do what is best for her.”

According to TMZ, Porsha said she’s “disappointed about her husband’s recent filing for divorce” and that she found out the news from a website this week.

She added that Kordell promised he’d work on their marriage issues, however he “misled her and she found out about the filing in the media.”

Despite all of the negative press, it appears that Porsha is staying very positive. On her Twitter account she thanked fans for their prayers and said she’s trusting in God’s plan for her life.

“A Marriage can last forever when two people decide to remain as one and conquer trials & tribulations together! #teamstewarts #faith,” she wrote. “Thank you all for your prayers!”
