Frank Ocean is being sued by a producer who claims he wrote the 25-year-old’s hit single “Lost.”

According to the Huffington Post, producer and songwriter Micah Otano filed a lawsuit at a California courthouse last week, claiming that he wrote and produced the Grammy-Award winning singer’s fourth single “Lost,” but has failed to receive production credit.

In the suit, Otano said he composed a song called “Daylight” with producer Malay. He accuses Malay of directly copying the record and turning it into what we now know as Lost from Ocean’s debut studio album Channel ORANGE.

The album went on to win a Grammy for Best Urban Contemporary Album in February, and now Otano is asking for an undisclosed amount in back royalties and damages.

Ocean has yet to make a statement on the allegations.
