President Obama signed the Violence Against Women Act this week and we couldn’t be more excited, as it’s been a long time coming! The House recently approved it and all we needed was the president’s signature and now we have it. Jill Scott will play co-star to Jason Lee on the CBS show “Second Sight”–a gothic psychological thriller about a detective’s ocular disease that causes him terrifying hallucinations. Scott, who built her TV resume with roles in “Steel Magnolias” and “The No.1 Ladies’ Detective Agency” will play the role of Dr. Callier, who tends to Lee’s ocular disorder. DMX may intimidate other rappers, but there is no fear in Iyanla Vanzant’s heart for the “Slippin’” rapper!
