The Academy Awards are known for their “lack of color,” but this year, black entertainers like Chris Brown and Rihanna seem to be the topic of discussion. Thank controversial host Seth MacFarlane to for that! The “Family Guy” comedian stepped on every boundary, no Oscar’s host since Chris Rock, circa 2005, would dare touch. His unabashed jokes, though refreshing, struck some as inappropriate. If the producers of Hollywood’s biggest night were hoping to stir the pot, they’ve succeeded!

“This is the story of a man fighting to get back his woman, who’s been subjected to unthinkable violence. Or as Chris Brown and Rihanna call it, a date movie,” MacFarlane joked when introducing the film “Django Unchained.”

Yikes. If that wasn’t offensive enough, he went on to reference how George Clooney’s attraction to younger women: “To give you an idea of how young she is, it’ll be 16 years until she’s too old for Clooney.”

And this was all before Seth broke into song about “boobies” we’ve seen in movies!
