It was all 1920s glam backstage last night at Wildfox’s Fall 2013 presentation. US Creative Director of TIGI, Keith Grout and Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics key makeup artist, Risa Robins-Moloney were on hand to create the Gatsby-inspired hair and makeup looks.

For hair, Grout styled three models in cotton candy-colored bobs, while the rest sported finger wave ponytails. “It’s a center part and low ponytail. Almost like the girl has been out at an event and afterwards she just wants to get her hair out of the way,” Grout explained. His beautifully coifed ponytails boasted sexy waves and a whole lot of volume. The trick was making them look effortless with just the slightest touch of polish. To achieve the look, Grout used TIGI’s Root Boost and dry shampoo.

On the makeup front, Robins-Moloney painted a vampy Fall lip color on three models and decided on a fresh blush shade for the rest. Eyes were an winged, kohl rimmed intense black. For an added touch of the 20s, some models bore fake beauty marks.
