I feel like I just saw Nelly squeezing on alleged girlfriend Ashanti’s bottom–oh yeah, that’s because I did. He was just on the red carpet of The Aria Hotel In Las Vegas, where he later performed. That was only a few days ago, but in that amount of that short time, the “Hot In Here” rapper has been associated with heroin. His tour bus was stopped at the border patrol checkpoint of Sierra Blanca yesterday, where police found a loaded gun, weed and that other dangerous drug. Yikes!
One of Nelly’s staff members took the blame for the entire stash of: 36 small baggies of heroin, 10 pounds of marijuana and a .45 caliber pistol. So you’re telling me, he was going to have a party all by himself? None-the-less, Nelly released a statement claiming to have nothing to do with the illegal activity.
“It is my understanding a member of my staff made an unfortunate decision to bring unlawful materials onto our tour bus that resulted in his arrest this morning, October 11th. Neither I nor anyone else on the tour bus was aware of his decision to bring these on board. Law enforcement officials in Sierra Blanca, Texas did not press charges against anyone other than that individual.”
