FAB OR FUG: Queen Latifah Shines In A Graceful White And Black Dress

Queen Latifah shines in a graceful elbow-length tailored black and white dress during the 4th Annual Power of Women Event in Beverly Hills where she was honored for her work with the Lancelot H. Owens Scholarship Foundation (founded in memory of her brother). Dana Owens has a lot to shine about these days–Steel Magnolia’s premiered Sunday to over 6 million viewers.

I can’t help but wonder if this look would have ‘popped’ more with a statement necklace or even a lower neckline. Something about the bust area of her dress is giving me pause. But she’s a favorite of mine, so I’ll give her a pass for no accessories. I think she is a perfect style icon for plus-sized women. She’s got the attitude and the panache to pull off any style gorgeously.

But that’s just me, what are your thoughts?
