Beyonce and husband Jay-Z continue to prove Harry Belafonte and his comments about them socially irresponsible wrong! After hosting a $40,000 ticket fundraising dinner for President Obama’s re-election campaign, she has signed on to perform at Alicia Key’s Black Ball.

She and Carole King will hit the stage at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York on November 1st. The extravaganza will benefit Alicia’s “Keep A Child Alive” organization to help those affected by HIV/AIDs in Africa and India. Oprah Winfrey will be honored for her philanthropic work, reports RapUp.
