R&B newcomer The Weeknd, ushered his way into the music industry on the heels of his Canadian brethren, Drake. They share a similar sound, composed of soft vocals and lyrics about alcoholic and drug infused nights with girls. Being an avid fan of the “In My Zone” artist, I am delighted to hear that he will release all three of his popular mixtapes–House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence— as the Trilogy under music house Universal Republic Records, reports MTV. The compilation will feature newly recorded songs and well as his oldies that will be “mixed and mastered.”

“Fall tour, music videos, trilogy release with three bonus tracks. xo,” tweeted the rising star. “To clear things up, the bonus tracks are not older unreleased records. they are being made in the studio right now. new music for my fans,” he added. With Drake constantly repping that “OVO and XO,” we wonder if he is in on the deal. More details to come…
