R. Kelly‘s debt to the tax man continues to rise. According to TMZ, the “Trapped In A Closet” singer owes the government $1.3 million dollars for unpaid taxes for the year 2011. Kelly already owes Uncle Sam $4,848,072.71 in unpaid taxes for the years 2005-2010 and with this new tax lien brings his total to $6,227,767.82.
His rep told the website:
He takes this very seriously and is already communicating with the IRS about the payment process to quickly resolve the issue.”
