Target Refusing To Sell Frank Ocean Album
Since Frank Ocean announced his sexual orientation in a letter on his Tumblr page, he has received praise for his strength. The confession was just in time for the release of his debut album “Channel Orange.” His announcement has helped with sales and notoriety, but with the blessing also comes the curse.

Retailer–Target–has refused to sell “Channel Orange.” According to a tweet from Ocean’s representative Christian Clancy:
“Target has refused to carry Franks album because of Itunes exclusive. Interesting since they also donate to non equal rights organizations.”
It is very understandable for Target to deny sales of “Channel Orange,” via their outlet seeing that iTunes was given the ultimate exclusive, but we find it quite convenient that Target, who also supports Tom Emmer who DOES NOT support gay rights, won’t offer the project to their customers.
Target allegedly gave Far Right Republican Tom Emmer $150,000 in 2010. Emmer feels “homosexuality is an abomination.”
ThatGrapeJuice reports, that in 2011 “Lady GaGa revoked an exclusive version of her LP ‘Born This Way‘ originally given to the company once she caught wind of their affiliations with Emmer.”
Coincidence…?
