Hello Beautiful Readers!
Is it true? I’m a Mom Blogger for Hello Beautiful! I am super excited and I can’t wait to share my thoughts, fears, tips, and everything in between. As a woman, sister, wife, mother, entrepreneur and beyond, I have so much to talk about its hard choosing where to begin so I thought the best place to start would be to talk about my personal journey and my thoughts on how to succeed in fulfilling the multiple roles we play each in every day.
Presently, I live in Florida with my supportive husband of five years, I earned my MBA during pregnancy from Florida International University in Miami, I have a smart and charismatic three year old daughter and I started two companies that I continue to own and operate. Beautiful Purpose Events, an event planning company based in Florida and Food So Good Mall, a food marketing company based in Fort Lauderdale, New York and Washington, D.C. Both of these companies were started to fulfill my dream of being an entrepreneur. My personal journey began after I graduated from Spelman College. After a storybook proposal, I decided to marry to my high school sweetheart at the young age of 25. I was told repeatedly that I was too young to get married and that I had my whole life ahead of me to choose the right partner. It was at this point in my life that I realized that I would no longer let other people’s expectations dictate my reality let alone my choices. I knew what I wanted and I decided to follow my belief in God and my heart.

After I finished business school, I decided not to go back to work. I made the choice to be a stay at home mother while my husband provided financially for our family. I decided that I would follow my heart like I have done in the past and take the chance. I wanted to start living my dream instead of just talking about it.
Now, I can proudly say that I am living my dream and loving every moment of it. I believe that if we always follow our hearts and continue to strive for greatness nothing is impossible. I am here to say it’s possible to fulfill multiple roles and maintain balance amongst them. If we maintain persistence, passion and belief, balance will find its way into our lives. I will continue to strive to be the best woman, sister, wife, mother, entrepreneur and whatever additional roles, opportunity and my judgment, offer me to undertake.

That being said, I am ready to continue my journey with you and write about what helps me day to day. The topics will be from potty training to favorite recipes, to on no he didn’t to oh hell yes. Enjoy and go forth, follow your heart, choose well , take action and the rest will follow.
