It was rumored that Clive Davis would be working on a biopic of the late Whitney Houston, but those rumors have been silenced, but not the desires of several young songstresses that want to play the legendary singer on screen. Brandy has placed herself at the top of the list and Rihanna’s put in her bid. Yeah–the same Rihanna that sings about how much she loves it when you eat it.

Rihanna told The Press Association, ”That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do because I would want to really pull it off. That’s a huge, huge role and whoever does it has to do a good job.” Hmm, even if Ri Ri were to give her entire life, I still believe she wouldn’t be able to pull that off. Oh and just in case Rihanna giving her entire life wasn’t enough for her to be able to play Whitney, she also states, “My first song that I remember falling in love with was a Whitney Houston song — ‘I Will Always Love You,’” Rihanna said. “It was really inspiring and it made me develop a passion for music, so really she’s partly responsible for me being here in this industry.”

You can’t just get a role like Whitney Houston just because she inspired you. Here’s a short list of actresses that could be options for the ultimate role of Whitney Houston.
