Almost everyone has owned (or currently owns) a pair of Timberland boots, either for the winter weather or for more fashionable purposes. However, the same company, known for their popular industrial shoe, has decided to launch a women’s line for the fall. Says Women’s Wear Daily,

Hitting stores in September, the women’s line will consist of 12 styles of boots and shoes incorporating organic canvas, Horween leathers and fabric details and ribbons. The collection, Timberland said, takes inspiration from the Great Depression and iconic faces of the era including Georgia O’Keefe and Rosie the Riveter. The styles will range in price from $170 to $340 and will be available at, as well as at selected retailers worldwide.

The shoe above is just a sample of the look the line is going for. Do you think it’ll be worth it, or should Timberland stick with all-weather wear?

Would you wear a dress made of peacock feathers?

How about a bathing suit made of crystals?
