"Charlie's Angels" Remake Cancelled!
“Charlie’s Angels” has been cancelled after just 3 episodes. The ABC series failed to make a dent against heavy Thursday night competition, so production has been shut down.
However, episodes that have already been filmed will continue to air.
The show premiered on September 22 to 8.7 million viewers, but by the third show had dropped to 5.9. Could the “X-Factor” singing competition be to blame?
Either way, this is the second show with a leading Black character (including Naturi Naughton’s “The Playboy Club”) that has been cancelled in less than a month.
