Michelle Obama Favorite Jason Wu To Design Target Collection
Michelle O.'s Inaugural Gown Designer Jason Wu To Create Target Collection
Remember that dress Michelle Obama wore to the Inaugural Ball in 2009? That ivory, one-shouldered gown embellished with Swarovski crystals and fabric petals? Of course you do. Who could forget it?
And who could forget the name of the man who designed it? Jason Wu (whose fame rose considerably after that day).
Now Wu, 28, is collaborating with Target to create a collection all his own, according to Elle. He told WWD:
“My collection for Target features clothes and accessories that are easily convertible from day to evening—sophisticated, feminine dresses, mix-and-match separates and playful accessories all with a bit of charm and dressed-up attitude.”
The collection will hit Target’s stores (and site) in February of next year. We can’t wait!
