Alexis Arquette Dead At 47
Actress Alexis Arquette died Sunday morning, according to NBC news.
Arquette, who was a pioneer in the transgender community, appeared in many popular movies, including Pulp Fiction and The Wedding Singer.
The Arquettes explained her career was cut short by her choice to live as a transgender woman.
“We held her and sang her David Bowie’s ‘Starman’ as she punched through the veil to the other side,” the family said about her death. “We washed her body in rose petals and surrounded her with flowers.”
“Everything I Own” singer Boy George expressed his grief on twitter:
Cause of death has not yet been revealed.
